Wayne Swaysland

General Manager

Wayne has more than 25 years corporate travel experience, holding senior positions with local, national and global travel management companies. Wayne joined World Travel Professionals as General Manager in November 2011 and in conjunction with owners Michael Chase-Smith and Lisa Story is charged with setting and implementing the strategic and operational direction of the company.

He is a past Vice President of the Association of the Travel Management Companies, and currently is on the Advisory board for Global Alliance group, Lufthansa City Centre. Wayne is regularly sought for opinion on industry trends and his comments often appear in trade publications such Business Travel Monthly.

Pamela McMurtry

Director of Sales

Pamela McMurtry has worked in the industry for over 16 years of her career and has specialised in the meetings industry and incentive travel markets. She has been involved in various committees within the industry including the Meetings Industry Association of Australia. Her experience and insight, while working with many corporations domestically and internationally on many events, has lead to her success within the industry.

Renee Mackin

Conference & Events Manager

Renee has been in the conference and events industry for over 16 years. For 6 of those years, Renee was part of a global hotel chain, co-ordinating and managing conferences and events. This gives her a unique insight into the hotel’s role in this highly specialised field and an affinity with problem solving on-site. Renee’s main role is the operation of each event from the initial venue sourcing and venue recommendations to our clients to registering delegates and onsite event management.

Ros has a broad base of experience and knowledge. With 22 years experience covering all facets of the industry including, wholesale, Retail/Leisure, Corporate and Conference and Event Management. With a strong Leisure background Ros' strength is assisting clients that want to combine holiday and conferences.

Glenys Broadhead

Conference Manager

Glenys combines over 25 years in the travel industry together with a strong theatrical background. A real creative source for the team, Glenys brings her skills together in theme development and execution for that unforgettable event.

Linda Higgins

Travel Specialist

Linda’s career in the Travel Industry spans over 30 years. During this period she has worked both Corporate and Leisure with a special interest in Cruising. Linda’s extensive product and general knowledge equips her with the skills to assist our Events team, and in particular the delegates. Many Events lend themselves to delegate pre and post, variations and special requirements. Linda’s experience means our clients delegates and staff are in very experienced hands.
